Vida is a unique writer who I generally always like. I first read Let the Northern Lights Erase My Name a few years ago, and wanted to give her another try. Glad I did, but still love Northern Lights a bit better. She describes her locations well and pretty good character development. Others state this was a depressing read, but I do not. She is searching for meaning in her confused life, and ultimately sets out on her own.
