Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. The plot was difficult and the ending sad. I don't think there will be more Wallander books.
The Swedish writers seem to have a grimmer outlook on life than I'm accustomed to ... but that didn't stop me from reading Doystoevsky (sp?) or Tolstoy....
