In a stand-alone title, King presents another engaging mystery that will have readers guessing until near the end. Set in England just after WWI, and on the verge of major worker unrest, an American FBI agent has taken it upon himself to come and investigate an up and coming member of the Labor Party who he thinks is responsible for several terrorist bomb attacks in the United States, one of which killed his girlfriend, and another of which left his brother better off dead.
