I really enjoyed this book. I wish it never ended! I could have followed Rose's life as if she was my friend and it was real life. I was squealing and crying throughout the whole book, I couldn't put it down! The only thing I would fix is that I felt like when she was thinking about her mom and her social life were two completely different books. Since time past so fast in the book one chapter would be completely focused on her mom and memories when you would wonder if she's going to school? or seeing friends at all?

Although that was not the point of the book, I would have liked to see more detail into her every day, day to day life. I think the writer explained the life of a family put through the loss of a parent so well. The writing was so touching, it was almost poem like when Rose was speaking to us. I could read this book again easily and find so many different details I liked about this book.

Its not a light read but you'll be hooked by the first page.
