When you return home after a long time, it does not take much time to again jump into the familiar life, habits, routines. So it is with Alexander McCall Smith's books. This latest book that I have read - The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection again draws you into the world of Ma Ramotswe, Ma Makutsvi, Mr. J.L.B. Matakuni and others. You will get into their world and live with these characters as if you had never left Botswana! The opening chapter in the book is amazing - with great deftness, the author steers different thoughts, bringing dreams, their interpretations into focus. The famous 'Clovus Anderson' - the author of the book 'Principles of private detection' has a guest appearance in this book and works with Ma Ramotswe in solving the cases that confront the detectives.
This is another must read pleasant book, guaranteed to make you at peace with the world. The author shows you how to resolve problems without ugly confrontations and in the best interest of all parties involved.
