I said before I'm done with dystopian novels so this will probably be my last for a while. Unless I get another freebee which is how I read the ones I've read before. This one was pretty good. Like a Nineteen Eighty-Four for teens. The lack of freedom the people have in this book is so creepy & horrible. They even get their food delivered & their portions monitored. They're told whom to marry, how to behave, when to die. All freedom is lost & that was what was interesting about this story, because it's so horrible to imagine such a world. Other than that, the characters are what you'd expect, teenagers falling in love, feeling betrayed, awakening to feelings of rebellion against society & their many rules. I might read books 2 & 3 in this series just to see how it all ends. Or maybe I'll just read reviews that contain spoilers.
