This book is written from several individuals' perspective. It is a good read for readers who enjoy suspense as well as for those who like romance. It is the story of an "old maid" & a motherless boy. The story tells how these two meet & how this meeting changes both of their lives. It also shows us the reactions of the townspeople. It is very riviting. It includes a little bit of romance, a villian, & many kind hearted individuals. It also includes a person that has become crippled by guilt. Several times I would pick this book up intending on only reading one chapter when six chapters later I woud have to force myself to quit reading. This is not a Christian book. It does include some swear words & some very graphic descriptions. It is not for young readers & young listeners.
