I recently won a copy of "Gone Missing" (Kate Burkholder#4) by Linda Castillo through the Goodreads Giveaway Contest.

It's every parents nightmare when a child goes missing. A missing child of Amish parents complicates things. There are no pictures of the girl, the parents are reluctant to talk to outsiders; the rules of investigation are different. But Kate has a job to do and with some insight into the Amish way of life she does have a bit of an advantage over other law enforcement. She's hoping to find the girl, alive and well, but before you know it a great deal of blood is found on a roadside, possibly human. Soon another teen is missing and then a body found, and then another missing.

This novel can be read as a stand alone novel,as I have not read her previous novels. This was a great thriller and an enjoyable read.
