I'm slowly making my way through all of Sarah Dessen's books. I'm big on YA, so reading Dessen eventually is inevitable, right?

Of the three I've read so far, this one is my favorite. I was a little worried when I started reading Keeping the Moon that Colie would be as much a wallflower as Haven was from That Summer. And Colie is on the fringes a lot in this one, too, but this time, standing on the sidelines is part of the story.

The cast of supporting characters were fantastic. Especially Aunt Mira. She was vivid and whacky, and she had a great outlook on life. So, while I waited for Colie to crawl out of that shell of hers, I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with Morgan, Isabel and Norman at the Last Chance Cafe.

This is a fun, quick, feel-good read. I recommend it fans of contemporary YA. (And for anyone who somehow has gone as long as I have without reading Dessen's books.)
