As much as you laugh out loud at the delightful dialogue of Holly Golightly and her friends in Breakfast at Tiffany's, your heart beats even more strongly and affectionately for the characters in the accompanying short story called A Christmas Memory. That story is one of the most moving stories you'll ever read. It is perhaps the greatest window that Truman Capote has given us into his soul.

Tanya Lolonis "Tiffany's" is a gem, and I agree that "Christmas Memory" is all the more moving for the insight he gives into himself. Beautiful, he's a master storyteller and one of my favorite writers.
