This book is about Finn quest to escape Incarceron, the mysterious prison in which he and thousands of others are trapped. Claudia, who is something of a princess on the outside, is in communication with Finn and is helping him to escape.

As with most of my reviews for books that I like, I'm going to keep this short. I really liked this book. It is very well written and has just the right amount of mystery and intrigue mixed with a scifi/fantasy element that was very enjoyable to read. The characters are engaging and believable, the protagonist isn't completely and unbelievably scrupulous, and description of the world inside the prison was absolutely amazing. All in all, this was a very good book and I look forward to the sequel.
