Nice blend of the BDSM club scene and HEA romance. I liked the heroine's waking up to her repressed sexuality and taking some bold steps to explore. Too many of the current crop of books in this genre revolve around a woman kidnapped and forced to acknowledge her taste for the kink.

The text is edited and clean. (Isn't it a shame we have to mention that?) Review copy provided by the publisher.

So agree with your point about books where woman seems to have zero choice/agency, no self-discovery. Not a fan of "club" books, though. Hmm.

Diana Liz, it's definitely a club scene book. I haven't cracked open the second book but it's about another dom in the same club. Definitely better written and smarter than some BDSM books I've tried that I'm embarrassed to add to my GR profile. This heroine wasn't overly aggressive but there would have been no relationship if she hadn't responded to his cues. So basically, yeah, thumbs up.
