I've apparently hit a reading wall lately and don't seem to be enjoying books as much as I have been. I guess 200+ books in 5 months will wear you out.

That said, with the exception of Courtney Milan's story, I didn't like these short stories. As usual, Courtney Milan wrote an engrossing, brilliant, funny, charming story and made it historically on point and believable, as well as terribly romantic. I may be tired of reading a book a day, but I'll keep reading everything she publishes til I keel over.

The others I simply couldn't get through. They weren't poorly written, which is my kryptonite, but I never engaged with the characters. I may go back and try again when I get over this ennui, but for the moment it's paused indefinitely.
