Read from May 26 to 28, 2012

There is a great story in here, but it feels like Bissinger comes at it from the wrong angle. The story of a cross country trip with his mentally handicapped son turns more into a memoir of Bissinger's life and relationship with his own parents. Bissigner's personality in this book is a negative and off putting one. His son, Zach, is a wonderful person and the story really lights up when it is focused on him, which is sadly, not enough.
