I agree, but will say, it's much more difficult (for me) to follow on audiobook. Listening again, though, because its so funny.

Have you read any of Moore's other books? Fluke, or I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings may be my second favorite. Moore is one of those authors I can't read in public--all of the snickering and guffawing that ensues causes people to edge away from me like I just escaped a mental hospital.
I haven't read "Fluke" yet, but I'm reading "You Suck". I added "Fluke" to my 'to read' category. It looks pretty interesting.
I haven't read Fluke yet, but I have read many others of his. The "You suck" trilogy:
Bloodsucking Fiends
You Suck
Bite Me
Related:
A Dirty Job
These are my favorites, and I listened to/read them again and again.
I also loved Lamb, as much as I was sure this would be sacrilegious, it was a very tender/sweet treatment of Christ. I loved it.
The Lustlizard of Melancholy Cove, and The Island of the Sequined Love Nun are also great, as is Practical Demonkeeping.
Fool is excellent, and I'm listening again, because I didn't know Shakespeare, and have trouble keeping the characters straight.
His newest, Sacre Bleu, is a masterpiece of genius.
