The first thing I can say about this book is Oh Gad I am so glad that I am done. I really wanted to put this book down several times, but I made it through.

Overall I feel this book was incredibly disappointing. I feel like I must be missing something since it is so well rated. I think the primary issue I had with the book is the author is too wordy for no reason and it doesn't do anything to advance the text. This book could have been great at 400 pages. I kept feeling like we are finally going somewhere and then there would be a 5 page tangent about people not pertinent to the story.

Perhaps I should have never picked this up when it is known for being the novel without a hero. I guess I realized that I need a hero to root for.
