Hope truly resides in this book. This slim little book plucked quite a few of my heartstring. True, I was sobbing so hard at the end but talk about good tears.

The plot is nothing new. A girl from big city who always has to move around found roots, love, friends and family in a small town USA. What made it so special is the characters. Hope is funny, lovable, strong and true. I would love to have her as a friend. The romantic angle is just enough to brighten up the book but none of those cloyingly sweet thing. And there're so many tiny little scences that touch my heart. Hope's scrapbook is one of them.

A lovely, lovely book for keep.
