it was amazing

Wow. It's been almost a week since I finished this book and I'm still stunned. The narrator is Nick Dunne, a stunningly gorgeous former journalist whose wife goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. Amy's diary entries from the months leading up to the disappearance are interspersed throughout Nick's narration, so that while you can't help but be drawn in by his story and find him reliable and trusting, the more you read from both narrators, the more you suspect his involvement.
The most impressive thing about the book is the way the author develops these two distinctive voices and without giving anything away, introduces an incredible twist that's perfectly timed. I can't say I really liked the ending, but realized there was no other way for the book to end.
