Kris Jenner... and All Things Kardashian
by Kris Jenner
by Kris Jenner
I picked this one up after hearing about it on the premiere episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" (yes, I watch that show, and I enjoy it) and hearing about some affair that Kris Jenner had. I didn't know she wrote a book, a few days later I got this from my local library, and honestly, I couldn't put it down.
The book starts off with Kris and her childhood. It spans her adulthood with a pro-golfer boyfriend till she meets Robert Kardashian. Then the book sorta goes to a different tone. Its all about her life with Robert, having babies etc. Then comes her affair which ruins her marriage and it results in divorce. After that she meets Bruce Jenner. After this point, there are about 70 pages or so about OJ and Nicole Brown Simpson. Honestly, I knew Kris was friends with Nicole cause she had mentioned it before. But I didn't really get that they were THAT close. That part of the story ends at the end of the trial. Then the book is really all about getting clothing stores together, the tv show, and on and on.
The book was pretty interesting, but I felt some things were rushed over or skipped over only to be brought up much later. Like how did they get to know all these famous people, was it just because she met Robert Kardashian, and things like that. But overall it entertained me and I enjoyed it.
