This book is ideal for people in search for meaning and seek a sense of adventure in their lives. It's life's journey and experiences - personified. It's truly a great and inspiring book.

"cynical wouldn't be the right term... close-minded, lazy and arrogant would be. Usually, the people who criticized this book are those people who probably only lived on one side of life -spoiled brats. Shallow academics who feels that by using complex words would equate complex meaning. the key aspect of this book is its simplicity - and its analogy. If you are someone, seeking for meaning and adventure in your life- or if you want to live life, search for your purpose - don't skip this book. But if ur looking for entertainment and a shallow read -don't bother because you'll end up writing the same comment as this person who wrote the comment above."

WTF? Wait, because I don't like the same book as you I'M the narrow-minded, lazy arrogant one? Who the hell are you to judge my character based on this retarded pseudo-fabel? I don't even know you...? It's not like I 'm leaving you comments about what a new-agey fruitcake you are for liking it. But, obviously, I have no interest in "life" or "adventure" and besides that, I'm a "shallow academic" and a "spoiled brat" who never bothered to live life very fully...duh. Anyone could see that based on a 10 sec. review of a book on the interweb. If you have nothing better to do than snipe at random people who don't share your taste, maybe you should take your life lessons from some different books.
