Sometimes, when I'm reading a book that has won a prestigious award, like, say, the Man Booker Award, I wonder, "Is this what old white guys think Great Literature is supposed to be?"

Put me down as "She didn't get it, and she probably never will."

Nor does she want to.
keywords: main character is a douchebag, I hate all the characters except maybe 2, and they are only in the book for around 10 pages max
