it was amazing

I loved this book. Wonderful realistic look at the workings of the Hollywood Station and the patrol units that make up its colorful detachment. The Hollywood unit of the LAPD has always been a bit different. Here surfer dudes dream of the next wave and the surf bunnies who go along with them, while patrolling the mean and often silly streets of Hollywood. Not as hyper violent as many cop books I really liked it's quiet look at some very real, very touching cops.
