What happens when you mix the stories of "Peter Pan" & "The Little Mermaid"? You end up with this entertaining novel by James Riley. This time around Jack, May & Phillip start off in the realm of the Fairy Homelands in their continued quest to determine who May really is. Their adventures take them to the land of Never here we encounter Pan & Captain Bluebeard. From there we go under the sea to the realm of mermaids & mermen in order to find the Sea Witch who can help break the spell in the Fairy Homelands & can move May closer to finding out who she is. Riley does another very good job in his re-telling of these classic tales & keeps the adventure moving along w/ enough wit & story to have you the reader laughing at every turn. The novel does leave a lot of open ends & provides us more info on Jack & why he's on this quest with May which is nice to know there will be a 3rd novel in this entertaining new series.
