I initially thought I've already read this somewhere. Girl's engaged to a seemingly perfect guy. Only he's not, and his flaws will eventually be discovered by the girl after a while. Then girl meets another guy who's exciting and sweet and ridiculously good-looking. And yep, she calls off the wedding and runs away with her new guy. The predictability kind of bored me at first, but I continued nonetheless.

Guess I made the right decisioin to continue. I was right. They really did fall in love- but it all happened with a really cute twist! I love how you could tell they fancy and love each other without them exchanging oversweet messages and displaying affectionate gestures. I like how both of them were in denial and how things between them turned i nto something very carefully.

I loved their exchanges of text messages, the fact that Poppy made Sam text :-) and xxxx, and the way Sam stopped the wedding with a text brigade. Believe me when I say I needed to blow my cheeks so hard to accommodate all the kilig I was feeling. :-)

Such a feel-good story. Kinsella never fails to bring out the high school girl in me.
