I'll admit, I was very skeptical abt ordering these books frm the beginning. I'd heard so many bad reviews on this so it took me awhile. I borrowed the first one frm a friend. My firsts thought were: Wht the crap, who edits the dang book!? YES, I said it! An 12yr old writing is wht I thought. I edited the writing along w my reading so I continued on. The book started off slow so I had skipped a few pages. Til it got to the good part. ;) I even hated both hero n heroin frm the beginning. *SPOILER ALERT** whn I got to the scene where Mr. Grey finds out Ana's sweet innocence. He said, "why the f••k didn't u tell me!?" I'll admit, I feel in love. Lol i find Mr. Grey a cool collected guy. One tht doesn't have outbursts like tht so whn he did burst, I liked it. It was totally off guard n unpredictable. So I went bck to the pages I skipped n started reading frm there. Yea, I knw. I'm lame. Lol I started tht book around 1:30ish AM time. I finished the book by 7 tht morning. Throughout the whole book, I was on edge. I got the thrill of reading it bcus I didn't knw whn his outbursts were coming or Ana's confidence was gna show. I'll also admit I hated Ana til the very last. I hated, Hated her naïveté. Bt she grew on me in the end. :) after reading the book Id put an order for all three books. Lol at first I loved the book bcus of the hot scenes bt I truly fell for it bcus it told me how n why Mr. Grey was the way he was. The hot scenes were jst a bonus. ;)
Overall I give this book a 4 1/2 stars. :)
