it was amazing

A thrilling and scary mystery including an encumbered former cop, who tries to commit suicide due to the fact that he can only move one finger, and the rest of his body is paralyzed. But knowing that there is a new bad guy out there keeps detective Lincoln Rhyme from wrangling himself. And there's a catch -- a new detective, Amelia Sachs, is at his side, also deeply entwined in this case.

The bone collector boils people, skins them, and does many other horrible things to them, for just a few reasons. It seems almost impossible for someone to write so cleverly, but Jeffery Deaver is a cunning fox, keeping you awake, and frightened with this book.

A real page-turner.
