So you have a P.I. who did 3 things in his angelic investigation.

1. Went to everyone who was mystical in his city and asked for help. To stop possibly the only end to their current torment.

2. Told his wife and only friend a cop.

3. Oh yeah, that break was made by his dog.

This book is kind of hard to read, it spends droll hours upon hours telling you interesting facts then crushing you with emotions then he makes a rookie mistake. One after another after another.

Also, from what I could tell. Remy never was out of Gods favor and never abandoned his responsibilities. He just left heaven because he knew it was never going to be the same.

It's funny how people like Nathaniel hate him for that. I love his sense of past, I met the grigoris 8000 years ago. The end.

I worked with Lazarus in the past.

I rescued Indiana Jones from the Arc and the Temple of the Last Crusade. ( I mean that's the level of Remy I expect next book)

I get a lot of it, just I hated and loved his animal talks. It's annoying. Yet somehow believable. So I wish to keep it at a minimum.
