I was first introduced to A Midsummer Night's Dream in a high school English class where we saw the 1935 film version of it. Then, in 1968, my father and I watched Peter Hall's remake which starred his favorite, Diana Rigg, as Helena. Of the two, I preferred the earlier even though the fairies in it were overclothed.
