it was amazing

I took this book out from the library, got halfway through and bought a copy. Yes. That good. Obviously my introduction to E.B. White came many years ago in a second grade classroom where we watched a film strip of Charlotte's Web. This book introduced me to White as a thinker, as an artist with words. His simple and direct style paints such a vivid picture of his life on a farm in Maine (the very farm that inspired Charlotte's Web) and captures a time in American history. I could go back to this book over and over.
