Krystl Louwagie I wanna read this so bad!

Jenna What's stopping you?

Krystl Louwagie That I don't own it and I own so many other books. :p I know, I know, it's at the library and I get audio books from there all the time...

Jenna I don't know it's available on audio, but if it is, don't get it because you'll be missing out on the illustrations.

Lacey Louwagie It is available on audio, but I'm not gonna order it for the library for the reason Jenna cited -- I'm skeptical of audiobooks that remove illustrations when images are a crucial part of the storytelling. They always include them in a PDF, but it's not the same.

Lacey Louwagie No, wait, I take that back. I just remembered a review I read yesterday that said the voicing of the "monster" is done very well in the audio. So maybe I will order it. But I still stand by what I said about translating illustration-heavy books into audio format. :)

Krystl Louwagie I've looked at the book in the library. And I could look at it again if I were listening to it-isn't that almost the same? :p

Jenna Sure. It's kind of like read-along books on tape for little kids. :)

Krystl Louwagie Yeah!
