The book is about a bullied kid that eventually snaps and goes on a shooting rampage in high school, killing both innocents and bullies. I applaud Picoult for taking on controversial topics and I enjoy the way she humanizes the offenders. However, I think I read this too soon after My Sister's Keeper because the plot was too predictably Picoult-ish. I plan on reading her other novels but I'm going to space it out in the future.
