I received an advance copy of this book from the author--which made me very happy because after reading her first book, Ride With Me, I immediately wanted more of Ruthie's funny, sexy, excellent writing. Well, I was not disappointed. Loved it MORE than Ride With Me. The London setting really worked for me (the heroine has a quirky job at the V&A, which is one of my all time fave museums)and I loved the interplay between two characters who are very different on the surface (spiffing, polished, citified Nev and tattooed, irreverent, wise-talking Chicagoan, Cath) but who end up finding they share a lot underneath their protective layers. Lovely, smart writing and just the right combo of hot, humor, angst and tenderness.

I was weaned on the Loveswepts of old--Iris Johansen, Sharon and Tom Curtis, Heather Graham, Kay Hooper, Fayrene Preston, Deborah Smith, etc.--and I am very excited to see authors like Ruthie Knox revitalizing a tradition of shorter length smart, sexy, interesting contemporary romance.

Ms. Knox is now an auto-buy for me. Can't wait for more!!
