An amazing story that tells the tale of the voyage of Lewis and Clark. the story contains the viewpoints of several different people who were part of the voyage that went to the pacific ocean. it is an inspiring tale of discovery and adventure.

violence: 8
the story depicts many disciplinary actions, wiping and other such actions. there are also some other actions that are taken in order to do this. Some men are shot and there are many instances of killing animals just to examine them. the dog in the story is attacked and attacks animals.

sex: 7
rape is occasionally depicted. the indian women are mentioned to be very open with their bodies and some people contract venereal diseases.

Language: 5
Several derogatory terms are used to remark about the various people of different races.
