A "poetic" story that exploits the melodrama of a tragic truth and relies on simplistic essentialization of a young foreign woman in its attempt to manipulate the emotions of the reader and make the reader feel self-righteous indignation at the fact of sex trafficking in a foreign land and holier-than-thou empathy for the simple foreigner girl whose poetic simplicity is supposed to be so profound.
