3.5 Stars I would have loved to give 4 stars BUT...

I really looked forward to reading this book and it was a good read but... it wasn't great. The BDSM aspect of the book was off. I love erotica books especially with a BDSM flare but I don't think the author gave the subject matter proper respect. D/s relationships are suppose to have some kind of consistency and in this book there wasn't any. It felt like the D/s relationship was an after thought at times and then a big deal the next. I prefer more consistency, it makes it more believable. I can see she was trying to throw a shock value in there but she didn't bring it home for me. I hate to leave on a negative note so... on to a positive... It was nice to see a continuation of the story line and re-connect with past characters.

If you already read the prior books I urge you to finish the series. My wish is not to dis interest anybody about the book. Just in my opinion it didn't deserve 5 stars.
