This book is a cracker! But then Peter Robinson is my favourite author!
However, the plot is well crafted and sucessfully merges two cases for Detective Chief Inspector Allan Banks and Detective Inspector Annie Cabot.
The story is gripping and keeps one's interest high at all times. The characters are intriguing and believeable and it is a pleasant change to live through the story with two main characters, who, whilst possesing some flaws are likeable and very human.
It was challenging remembering the sequences of previous caes that are interwoven, but that is all part of the great challenge that the author issues to us. I strongly reccommend this to all Crime and Suspense readers.
