Amazing book. Melissa Fay Greene told the story of an Ethiopian woman who loses her daughter to AIDS and then puts her grief aside to take care of a few of the millions of AIDS orphans. She includes the stories of these children from the loss of their parents to their eventual adoptions to other countries. She truly put a face to the "millions" of orphans and their parents. Throughout the book she includes a history of Ethiopia, of AIDS, of AIDS treatments and the greed that allowed many to die while huge profits were being made by the pharmaceutical industry.
