** spoiler alert ** 5 Stars!

This started off like many of these types of books start off. Girl goes to club, is trained by Master Dom, Girl finds she really loves the sub lifestyle, they fall in love and live the lifestyle.

But boy did this one really heat up right from the beginning. First of all the heroine Gabby is only there to find her friend who disappeared and may have been taken by Human slave traffickers. She is working with FBI as a plant. Having had some past BDSM club experience in the past makes her a perfect candidate.

Marcus, Master Dom is training several sub trainees in the club Shadowlands and starts spending more and more time with Gabby. Gabby knows that the traffickers are picking up stubborn, "bratty" subs for an auction and she has to suppress her natural urge to obey and appear a bit out of control. Every time she acts up instead of losing interest, Marcus is drawn closer and closer to Gabbie.

They start to have feelings for one another and she feels increasingly guilty for having to hide her true reason for being there. But she is driven to do what ever is necessary to find her friend.

Great story, well written, host of interesting 2ndary characters who interact and support one another. Very emotional and I really liked getting into the heads of these two characters. Seeing in subtle ways what is the turn on to the D/s relationship as it grows. Hot steamy sex does not detract from the relationship part of the story and lots of action and danger thrown in.
