This is the kind of thing I want to be able to do some day-- research and write a book that has a central concept, but where the chapters are really only loosely connected to that concept, and just get to put all sorts of interesting thoughts out there that one doesn't usually think about when they think about the unifying theme.

I'm going to be turning over some more thoughts on debt tonight-- as plot, but as plot for my real life, especially through the way that my financial debt influences the choices I make in my life, and the way it also influences the choices JD makes. And I'm also going to be thinking about debt to family, both financial and time and care.
