The Great Book of Amber contains all of the Amber novel by Roger Zelazny, and in my opinion is a masterpiece of fantasy. The whole Amber gang is here. Corwin, Random, Eric and all of their scheming, plotting and conniving while trying to gain the crown of the world of which all others are merely shadows. Very original fantasy, with long live characters who travel the worlds of Shadow, including ours, in search of the advantages they need to triumph, and the dark horror that comes from a far shadow to threaten their existence. The writing style is reminiscent of Michael Moorcock, with the same easy style of the bizarre that were found in the the Eternal Champion Series. A great read, a long read, and very imaginative. And what more could anyone want.
