I picked up this book knowing only that it involved crime and was written under one of Michael Crichton's pseudonyms. Keeping that in mind, this book was surprisingly good. Not extremely original, but still entertaining. It had a decent criminal, who reached the level of evil desired for this story. There were many twists and turns, always something new being added to the mystery. The thing I loved most was that I couldn't put all the pieces together until the end. All the pieces weren't given from the start, so until about the last part you are stuck wondering "who did it?" and "why?" I prefer this much more than being given all the pieces and solving the mystery before the first 5 chapters have past.

Great book for quick entertainment. Doesn't drag or rush to the end. just straightforward as is possible.
Until the next review,
farewell! =)
