"But there’s a difference, isn’t there? Between saying goodbye and death."

One word: omfgthiswassofrexingepicthatihavenowordslefttoexpresswhatithink...
there, i wrote it XD

Anyway. Awesome conclusion to one of my favorite ya sci fi series. I am glad that Beth Revis didn't fail me with all her glorious plot twists and awesomeness. I liked every moment of it, and i just can't help but think that i would love if this book was longer! It seemed to me too short, but still, there wasn't anything that was missing or anything out of place.

Story :

Story was awesome as always. Beth Revis was quite sadistic to torture people with her chapter endings...especially near the end, concerning one person (i almost had heart attack!).

Anyway, everything was properly connected, there weren't any plot holes, and what i liked the most was that she developed Amy and Elder's characters even more! Even threw in new ones like Chris (which i majestically laugh now because we share the Chris part of the name), Amy's parents and all of the frozens. Throw in some aliens, weird planet and deaths every day and you have perfect entertainment.

Oh and btw, i adored it that the book wasn't all about the romance between the two of them (you can say though that there was mini love triangle).

" “We all die someday." Maybe the only thing that makes that fact bearable is the idea that death is the only way we can return to the stars.” "

Characters :

Elder : i just love him so freaking much. Anyway, once all that happened was his responsibility, he always had to take care of everything and everyone, and his hardest decision was to leave the people on Godspeed. After the awakening of the frozens, he becomes just one of the those shipborns, and he had hard time to prove to Earthlings that he was the one who was leader of his people. So...the way they treated him and kept him in the shadows just awoke his doubt of Sol-Earthians motives. He starts believing in what Orion had said. He thought about everything, and always went forward with his decisions, and some of them were pretty much reckless. Still, he is adorable and fluffy as always.

Amy : Sometimes i just wanted to smack her in the face and say "what is wrong with you??? Girl, you need to work on screaming at parents to listen to you carefully before they screw up everything!!!", or Elder should have done it....But damn....Still, i hate it that even though she was first Earth human to awake, no one even bothered to listen to her until everything was late. Still, there is no question that she is brave as well, but she seemed more naive here than in the other books. In the end she was awesome....The end.

Chris : asdjasldjasjkdjlasjd i didn't like you but now i do!

Me: I don't trust you. You are to shady.
Chris: I am not asking you to. But...
Me: No but, i saw what you did there!
Chris: But, but...i...if you would just listen...
Me: i am the reader, i see everything, i know everything and damn you kept some nasty stuff cutie pie.
Chris: ...
Me: But i still like you :D Though i must say that i didn't expect it. At all.

Ok, i have lost my mind....

Amy's parents and other people: : Amy's dad is an asshole. At least that is what i thought till the end. And i still think it. Actually, everyone from Earth turned out to be more assholier than any other asshole in the previous books. Except Emma and Amy's mom. One thing i must say about Orion: (view spoiler) Oh, i almost forgot! Amy and Elder had (view spoiler)!!!

Overall :

i need to read it again...i need more of Elder!!! Now!!!!!!!

Diana Tolubaeva Thanks) I'm in love with this book. I've sawn the GIF file in the "Story" part (she's Olivia Dunham - one of the main characters of my favorite TV show, and that episode is very sad so I remember it) and visited your rewiew. It was interesting enogh to start reading Across The Univers. So thank you a lot for it

Kristalia Yeaaaaaaaaaah, Olivia was great. I felt said cause i think they ruined the last season of Fringe, and up to it,the series was my favorite too.

Im glad you like my review dear :D
