This is once again the story of the might of the US establishment taking on the Colombian drug cartels with a view to stopping supply of cocaine into the country.
The book is well conceived and written as a covert operation by different agencies and branches of the US armed forces.
But as far as the writing goes I have read some which are even better. Frederic Forsyth's 'Cobra' is one.
I feel the author has not made real good use of the possibilities offered by the plot.
