"One Hit Wonder" opens with the hangover from hell and ends with happily-ever-after for Audrey and John, the couple who travel the long road between those two events. At the beginning of the story, Audrey has lost her job and her way. An old high school friend, who's found her on Facebook, offers her a chance to use her skills as a photographer on a road trip with his band. On the road trip she meets John, the driving force behind the band. A relationship developes, culminating in the song John writes that is the origin of the book title. But a hit song, a viral video and life in the fast lane overtake them. Audrey finds her passion in life but almost loses her love. But this is a romance--happily-ever-after is a given. It's the struggle to get there that makes this fun to read.
