So excited to get a hold of an ARC of this book. It is a great premise and a pretty good read. You can tell it's a first book; Chris Colfer tells the reader a little too much throughout the story making the twists and turns a little anticlimatic. Also a few too many references to akward sexual feelings. Fans of the children's fantasy genre will enjoy the series as it is reminiscent of many popular books, TV shows and musicals (collecting items to get your ultimate wish granted...Into the Woods anyone?). The lessons are good, the characters are likeable when I next one comes out I will for sure pick up a copy.
