Brisingr (The Inheritance Cycle, #3)
by Christopher Paolini
by Christopher Paolini
I reeeeaaally hated the second book, Eldest. I mean, really hated it. But I am incapable of stopping a book (or movie) no matter how bad it is. So, I'll be reading this one, too, since it's a dang series. And forget my relief that this was supposed to be the last of the TRILOGY; I just read that the series will now be continuing after this book.
Please, please let it be better than Eldest.
UPDATE: Got it, read it, didn't HATE it. I did find myself skimming through pretty often when the wordiness got out of control, but definitely better than Eldest.

Put the book down and back away. Brisingr is so horrible that I got through 200 pages and couldn't even contemplate continuing. Really, stop while you're ahead!

you know what i'd suggest giving it a try, there's a 50/50 chance that you will like because i think that it is better than Eldest in what its trying to accomplish and has more moments that keep you on the edge of thinking somethings about to happen. However, it is wordy, wordy, wordy. There is such a thing as too much description of too many things. Give it a shot you may like it, about half the people who read it do.While the rest of us are going to burn Paolini alive...
