I was given and e-copy in exchange for my honest review.

This is volume 1 in The Little Orphan Anvil Trilogy. The tale revolves around the battle of machine against evil magic. The entire realm and several orphans fate are in the hands of a child, his dog, a robot, and its creator. They must save the orphans from and evil witch that has destroyed the Land of Iron and Anvil. Along the journey, they have several obstacles the must overcome before the real battle begins.

I really enjoyed this book. I am not much for "robot reads" but I would have to say that this one surprised me and is towards the top of my list of faves. I am a sucker for good verses evil. I would recommend this book for all ages. This is one I will be passing on to my 12 year old to read. I can't wait to see what journey volume 2 holds.
