This was a great book!

Didn't follow the usual "end of the world" scenarios, which was nice.
The book actually had more to do with an out of control illness than any mystical/mythical world ending event. Not an asteroid in sight. ;)

A lite smattering of romance, science, and a hint of Mayan history all rolled together to make for a great read. The characters are real without too much back story to bog down the tale.

All-in-all a fast paced, enjoyable read!
