Wow, I went through alot of different emotions in this one. First let me say I loved Claire her character made this book to me. She loved her sister unconditionally even after all the horrible things she did to her. Ann the abused sister was a tough person to like. I really tired, I at times felt sorry for her but some of the horrible things she had done to Claire and her own kids kept me from truly liking her.I think the thing that kept me from giving the book 5 stars was the ending. I felt like I needed more. You wait all book for the sisters to have their reunion and Ann to get away from her husband and in a flash its done. The ending also leaves you to wonder what happens from here? All in all a very good book that definitely brings the issue of domestic violence to the forefront.
