Uncivilized Beasts and Shameless Hellions: Travels with an NPR Correspondent by John F Burnett
This is such a well written book! The stories toward the beginning are riveting, some of the later ones not as much. But he is such an amazing writer you will be drawn in, no doubt, and he takes you to all the big stories of the past 15 years. His account of Katrina and experiences in Iraq are incredible to read. (If you like NPR at all you will love this)
